NEON MUSEUM
cultural event signage
In alignment with the Neon Museum’s mission “to highlight perspectives historically underrepresented in the museum sector, notably featuring Black, Latino and Hispanic, Indigenous, and Native Communities,” I focused this project on designing signage for a Día de los Muertos themed series to be displayed throughout the neon bonyard.
The signs spotlight the Hispanic artists and craftspeople who helped shape the iconic neon landscape of the Las Vegas Strip. Their contributions are foundational to the city’s visual identity, yet their stories are often overlooked.
QR codes leading to video of the featured neon bender practicing their craft provide interactivity and further education.
